This was a great little kit BUT that's what people who can easily solder small wires need. You need to make 4 electrical connections in a small space, so you'll need a soldering iron with a thin tip and some patience. I used it to fix the jack on my son's gaming headset. Instead of throwing away the $70 device, it was installed for 1/10th the cost of a new device. The hardest part was stripping the wires on the headset he has. The wires are tiny and the insulation is unlike anything I've seen before. Probably made of adamantium or something. Insanely difficult to remove. Wolverine would be proud.
