Second collar is as good as first

This is my cat's second Red Dingo collar. She eventually lost her first collar, which was bright orange and looked beautiful around her neck. I love these collars. They are extremely durable but admittedly a bit stiff and difficult to set up at first. I highly recommend choosing a collar size that allows you to easily slide your first two fingers underneath while your cat is wearing it. However, you don't want your cat to be able to lick its neck. She might accidentally get her jaw stuck. It's a bit of trial and error, but be patient and prepare treats and pets to help your cat adjust. Then be vigilant over the next few days to make sure it suits you. After trying many cat collars before Red Dingo, I found out what makes a good collar. This one has never been worn, tarnished or broken. It remained very thoughtful, which put my mind at ease as she walked out. The bell stayed in place for the life of the collar and I used it to locate Asha in the garden. It's a nice little sound, and I'm sure it's a welcome warning to other beings. The clasp never wore out and retained its tear-off function even after I removed and replaced it many times. I love how many colors Red Dingo has to choose from and would recommend this collar to anyone who has a cat. It may seem more expensive, but you will save in the long run. I buy a collar every few months. I haven't had to think about a cat collar since July 2014. And hopefully not in the next few years, after that I'll consider trying green.
