I have an outlet in the washroom where there is only one outlet but there is a toggle switch for a ceiling hood elsewhere in the outlet on stove Fan. I use the upstairs washroom to shave and brush my teeth and needed more than one outlet but didn't want to tape a long extension cord to the wall. This product has worked well for me and is not too big or bulky. I only have a couple of 4" power cord loops from a small distance between the connector and the strip's attachment to the wall. It's nice that the manufacturer included a velcro to tie the cord, but if I could. If I were to buy the same product with a 1" or 2" cable, I would make that choice.
