Review on 🔌 Cuisinart DK-17 Rechargeable Stainless Steel Electric Kettle by Amy Silakos

I've been using this kettle for just over three months so I'm not on Revain's return policy but will be contacting Cuisinart. This morning I went to put the kettle on and found the window part of the item was cracked! I really liked the kettle, it boiled quickly, poured great, but if the viewing window broke, I didn't expect this to happen with an item supposedly made to withstand the temperature of boiling water. I am giving one star so I can write this review. I have to pay the shipping cost to get a new kettle and also pay the shipping cost to return the defective item. As they conceded this was a mistake, surely they should be responsible for the shipping. I don't send back a defective kettle, I'm looking for a new one, but not Cuisinart!
