I sized according to the size chart provided and these shoes are VERY large for my 3 year old. It is between size 8 and 9, but not quite 8.5 for some brands. Judging by the reviews and charts, I bought a size 9 and it swims in it. We can't even wear them because they're too big and chunky. Overall this is a very durable and beautiful shoe, but I would say if your child has a thin foot and is between sizes, don't go too big and ignore the stupid size chart provided because it's rubbish. .
