Where do I begin to tell you how sucks this is? Well, I'll start with the positive things. There are three great things about this radio: design/build quality, speakers and the fact that it uses AA batteries. The design is really beautiful. Very nice wood look. It has an aluminum back with a beautifully clad front. Really nice. The sound is excellent. While it's not audiophile quality, it's better than most radios in this size class. It has a nice deep sound with just the right amount of bass. However, the sound could do with a little more detail. Another plus is the fact that it runs on AA batteries! It's very convenient and I think it's the best feature. That's where it ends. Nothing else is good about this radio which is why I only gave it 1 star. This radio is very faulty. Not sure if this is a software or hardware issue. Whatever it is, it feels like a pre-production beta. I sincerely believe that this model went into production in a hurry. Reading USB sticks was basically a bug. It only reads 1 of the 5 discs I have. However, it only reads these. It could scan music files, but it couldn't download them. In other words, I couldn't transfer my music files from any of my USB drives. Yes, you are right. I felt like I could scan internet radio stations from the device itself. nope You can only listen to radio stations that you have preset via the web browser. So you have to scan 40,000 stations and download the ones you like one by one. Also, you're only limited to memory presets. So choose wisely. Then comes the application. It's totally useless. Brennan's support staff even admitted it to me. More on that later. This leaves you with a web browser as the only option. And let me tell you, it's bloody clumsy. It kept crashing and most of the time it just didn't work. I was able to save a few stations but then they were all erased when I changed the batteries. A real nightmare to use. Saving videos to YouTube worked 50% of the time. For some reason some videos played but not saved to memory. Customer support sucks. I have contacted them via email. It took a few days to reply. When they did, it didn't help much. I've already done everything they told me to do. They basically told me to control it from a web browser and not an app. It's crazy how they know their app sucks but they don't do anything about it. I really wanted to like this radio. I've done my best to make it work. Brennan, post an improved version and I'll buy it as long as you keep the AA battery feature. Now please return to the drawing board. I know you can do better than this piece of shit.
