Review on 🎮 Enhanced Razer Ripsaw HD Capture Card - Optimal 1080P FHD Game Streaming & Flawless 60 FPS Recording by Melissa Hart

I bought this for use with a PS4 Pro which requires a 4K 60Hz connection to play 4K with this capture card . I never managed to get it to work, even after the RMA from RAZER my problems persisted, I made sure it wasn't my cables or TV by testing everything myself. Every time I plugged the capture card into my PC or PS4 Pro it just told me it could only go up to 4k @ 50Hz which is "normal" on a PC but not on a PS4 Pro. I only have two Vizio 4k TVs to test, but they both had the same issue. The capture card works great in 1080p pass-through, although it's a little weird to work with, had to watch a video on how to set it up properly in OBS (no instructions available). I appreciate the front 3.5mm mic/headset jacks which include side effects support. There is audio band switching noise on the recording board coming from the Mic In connector, I have an active microphone with a gain control and there were enough volume controls on the computer to filter out/reduce the effect. The audio controls were a little confusing as you had to adjust the gain in Windows, the Razor app AND the streaming app. This allows for a great deal of control, but I can see streaming newbies getting frustrated. I had a very difficult time with the USB connection, every USB 3.0 port on my SABERTOOTH x79 motherboard (which has an ASMEDIA USB 3.0 PCIE chip built into it) is a card with a passive error (e.g. no image or sound appear ). Did the capture card work for some reason when I plugged it into the Intel x79 chipset USB 2.0 port? Although the instructions clearly state that you need USB 3.0. Finally, to make sure this wasn't causing my above problems, I bought an ASMEDIA USB 3.1 PCIE carrier card and tested it, 4k@60hz was still not supported. , does not support 4k as advertised.
