I really like the pattern on the strip. It is a very strong and durable item to the touch. I think bells are the right sound. However, they are very delicate and will ring at the slightest touch, so be mindful of where you hang them. I decided to hang it right next to the door to avoid accidentally ringing the bell of other people entering and exiting. We have a tiny 4 lb Maltese who is afraid of touching things and has no problem poking his nose at them. The tone is a light and pleasant ringing, not a loud ringing. I would recommend it. As for the color, I like it. It may look like a dark teal/turquoise in the picture or from afar, but up close it has more green. The color goes well with green or blue.
