Let's start with me shaving my head with this! As a longtime user of the Mach 3 TURBO with cooling strips, I was very upset when it was discontinued. So I switched to the regular Mach 3. The shave wasn't nearly as good as the Turbo and I often got razor burn. I'm a person who "gets stuck in my way" and doesn't switch products well when I find something I like. So while trying to find the best razor to replace the turbo, I decided to give the Pro Glide Chill a try, although I wasn't sure about the function of the ball. Let me just say that I'm happier with my decision than I ever thought I would be. The weight in hand feels great, I hate a light razor. The 5 blades ensure a closer shave in fewer passes, and the additional cooling strip ensures an extremely comfortable shave. Blade life seems fantastic as the Turbo/or regular Mach 3 has only given me about 6 days of comfortable shaving and the Pro Glide is now in its second week and I still feel like I've started to wear it to use. I have nothing but good things to say about this razor. You have to do it yourself to try it.
