Review on Dritz My Double Deluxe Blue Medium Dress Form - Perfect Fit For Your Clothing Designs by Ben Hamilton

This dress form, marketed by Dritz in the U.S. as the My Double Deluxe size medium & made by Adjustoform (Adjustoform.com), arrived in a box that was not completely sealed. The black plastic pieces on the pole & form are scratched but the form itself seems clean. It arrived with two sets of instructions, printed in many languages. But the instructions are for all models. They show the rolling base & my model has the less stable thin metal tubing legs. Apparently the rolling base is $50 more. I think you could look for something with a rolling base in a thrift store & find "wheels" for much less. Still, it's disappointing the company doesn't provide a sturdier base for all their forms. There is no pincushion on top of the neck of my medium My Double Deluxe as was indicated somewhere, just a hard plastic finial. Really, there is nothing deluxe about this form. My large Adjustoform dress form, a Supra Fit, given to me by a friend, at least has a pincushion on the top. I think this form is a bit flimsier. I was attracted to this form because it has "good posture" and squarer shoulders and so do I. It also has many adjustments including the torso height. I am so sad I received a repackaged return as this was a gift to myself. I was excited to get it & wanted to start using it right away. I think Adjustoform has a problem with their U.S. distributor. If you want to start using your form right away, you might want to look at another brand. I will update this review when I get this sorted out.
