Flimsy but good if staying set to one size.

This is decent but not good for the seamstress who has multiple sized customers. If you need to make constant adjustments your up the creek. Firstly it's going to kill your fingers and secondly it will never make it to most of the sizes you want. As stated in other reviews it will not get to the Fuller size ranges without padding. Was very disappointed about this issue. I won't be paying for the padding kits that look like a bag of shoulder pads due their poor reviews. I will be making a muslin

Pros
  • Dress Forms & Mannequins
Cons
  • The dress form is heavy and difficult to move

A good quality form for the casual sewer

A good quality form for the casual sewer. With the various adjustments, you can get it pretty close to your measurements. As others have mentioned it can be a bit fiddly to adjust and the directions are not clear. To adjust the shoulder-hip/waist, you basically have to lay it down and gently force the torso up and the hips down (not included in the sketchy directions). You do have to pin at an angle, not directly/stabbing in. There seems to be the option to place the support pole in the middle…

Pros
  • The dress form comes with 12 adjustment dials and a waist lengthening feature, allowing for even greater versatility in sizing and fit.
Cons
  • The neck and shoulders may not be adjustable, limiting the types of garments that can be fit

This dress form, marketed by Dritz in the U.S. as the My Double Deluxe size medium & made by Adjustoform (Adjustoform.com), arrived in a box that was not completely sealed. The black plastic pieces on the pole & form are scratched but the form itself seems clean. It arrived with two sets of instructions, printed in many languages. But the instructions are for all models. They show the rolling base & my model has the less stable thin metal tubing legs. Apparently the rolling base is $50 more. I…

Pros
  • This dress form is adjustable to fit a wide range of sizes, making it an excellent choice for those who want to design and fit clothes for themselves or others.
Cons
  • The metal components may rust or corrode over time

The tripod stand is so wobbly it requires a foot to hold it down when actually pinning on the form. I ended up ordering a size too large, but only realized that now, a year later. I'd recommend going with the smallest size and checking if the adjustable ranges can go up to your measurements. I really want to drape a corset but the waist and hips don't get small enough since I got a medium size, and the hips are, at their smallest placement, too big for me (the mistake I recently noticed by…

Pros
  • Off-set center pole position for hanging pants
Cons
  • The form may not be durable enough to withstand frequent use
