Review on Smart watch Garmin Instinct, tundra by Aneta Kowal ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great quality, happy with it one hundred percent!

Acquired in September 2022. Since then, I have already run 890 km with them. I swam in the pool, took a shower in them. I really like the number of measurements, pulse, pace, speed, distance . I won’t even list everything, because I don’t use it. Recently I set up 5 different fields on one screen that I needed. Removed the rest. Very cool thing - a metronome. Allows you to adjust your cadence to reduce stress on your knees and joints (cadence). I removed all notifications from my smartphone - I practice information noise reduction and control stimuli. In other words, this flickering does not eat my battery. Hours in the mode of heart rate monitor and notifications about write-offs from bank cards, plus 3 workouts per week for 40 km. - Enough for one and a half to two weeks. I charge once every two weeks. The strap is cool, hypoallergenic, lightweight, with two straps, so the free end will not hang out. Everything is very comfortable and well thought out. This is my first Garmin. Very pleased. Before them, I ran with Mi Band for a month until I started losing GPS near the military units of St. Petersburg))) Very satisfied. Recommend. By the way, this model perfectly counts the step frequency, there is a Body Battery mode and the Pace Pro strategy. Standing thing. However, I am looking at the Fenix 6x Pro. I want more information and a pulse oximeter. Addition after a year: in my model, the battery flew after 11 months. Fortunately - the official guarantee from Garmin is 2 years. The service center in Hong Kong replaced the model for me. They sent new ones. I ran in them for a month and sold everything on ebay for the same purpose described above. Very pleased with Garmin.

Pros
  • Lightweight and comfortable. Contrast screen - you can see everything in the sun. A large number of measurements and their accuracy. Custom fields. Abrasion resistant screen. Waterproof.
Cons
  • Except the thickness. I often wear a shirt with cufflinks, so it is not always convenient with cuffs. Can't hide clock. Still, I prefer to wear around the clock.
