I received this computer on May 11, 2020 after ordering it on May 3, 2020. I was hesitant due to all the feedback on speed and noise, slow processor and keyboard clicking noise. Immediately I did one thing that I believe will help everyone. Connect directly to WiFi with an Ethernet cable. There's a speed you just need to connect properly. My husband bought it for me as a birthday present. I've always used a Surface and didn't want to pay a whopping $4,300 for a Surface Desktop. Let me admit I'm getting older and the small Surface screen isn't great, but who needs a $4300 computer? Not me. Yes, the fan is noisy, but my everyday life after COVID-19 is the same. I just went to the Microsoft Store, downloaded all my apps and decided which ones I needed and which ones I didn't. Keyboard clicks don't bother me. It's better than a PlayStation all day long. As always I will keep the boxes for 30 days to ensure I have them in case I need to return them. But so far it's a good buy. I even went back to Revain to see how much another one would cost for my sister Tracy but she loves the HP laptop and the price of this one has almost tripled. Which brings me to the Revain cost issue. They allow other sellers to sell it for triple the price. It's just crazy. I will update my review with photos and any issues in 30 days. It's not touchscreen, it has plenty of storage, and I have a 1TB external drive, it comes with a keyboard, it comes with Office for Home. I just downloaded my Office 365 that I got from school. But at the moment it's exactly what I need to work from home and organize my everyday life. Update 1 week WOW! I had no problems with this computer, no fan noise, no slowness, no problems with multiple tabs on the web. As you can see in the picture. I installed it on my desk with the keyboard drawer. I am recovering from major rotator cuff surgery amid this Covid-19. Since I was working from home, I couldn't conveniently use my interface. Thanks honey this is just what this old girl needs to work from home and be comfortable. No more squinting, no more burying your sore hand in an uncomfortable position. It connected to my printer wirelessly. It is wired directly to my high speed internet and WOW! Fast lighting. I will continue to use and update it but I really don't understand the complaints. Updated 05/28/2020. I've included photos of my setup as well as the back of the computer with connectors. I connected it directly to the internet with an ethernet cable and it's fast. I've also connected my speakers to a microphone, my music plays much louder (Revain Music) and my Microsoft Teams meetings run better too. I don't have anything bad to say yet and will keep updating until I have 60 days. Updated June 6, 2020. WOW MORE! I was having my first teamwork meeting and everyone but me was having computer problems. They kept resetting the meeting and I stayed for the duration of the meeting. I work in a large organization and this is exactly what I needed, the screen is the perfect size and I still don't mind keyboard noise and there is no fan noise at all. I have a wish. so you can add an extra monitor (that's how I work in the office). I added a monitor, it works! Otherwise this is (maybe) my last update date. I've been working from home since March 15, 2020 and this computer is a workhorse. Thank you dear. This is the best computer and birthday gift. Still connected via ethernet cable, it's just AMAZING! October 10, 2020 update - 5 months at . I see this type of computer everywhere, I also learn what this computer can do and I found a YouTube video with a link to my review (before editing). The computer is still AMAZING! I live in a suburb of New York. This computer is still my husband Devine's best investment in me. I upgraded my keyboard and mouse. I have a 2TB hard drive (1TB external) and the speed is still amazing. Sometimes I disconnect from ethernet and it's still so fast. I have 6 apps open at the same time and click two side by side and no problem. I think the people who complained had one of two problems: a bad computer or not knowing what that computer is capable of. The truth is. I'm what my husband calls "the techie in the closet." I'm a woman, but I like good technology that makes life easier without making it more complicated. I can even buy an extended warranty to cover things I can't fix myself. I even saw this computer on HSN in colors more expensive than what Devine paid for. Thanks to a new relationship between Microsoft and Samsung, Your Phone Companion is now up and running. I don't like that part at all :( HP, Microsoft and Samsung. Updated 11/9/2020. Well, I'm still working from home in New York. People don't listen. So here I sit. I wait for an electric table with two motors. My pc still works great. I have upgraded to Windows 10 Pro and I am very happy that the seat table will be checked once it arrives here on 11/24/2020 😩‍😫‍😪 I sit angry and wait. Me keep looking for other tables but the execution time is the same say as soon as the table arrives at this point the computer is still great and the fan is quiet and I have tested this machine on my way husband talk about it more to buy maybe envy let's see fingers crossed still in love with my hp all in one update 08/13/21 still love this pc but it's time for an update 2. I finally have a second monitor connected and he has served me well and is still fast and quiet. HP Envy 32, here I am. I will factory reset this gem, clean it and sell it. Looking forward to Windows 11. Update 08/25/21. I am selling this computer after a little over a year. It still works great! With everything that is happening to me now and the changes in my life, I am beginning my second act! I got an HP Envy 32 All-in-One for my 11th birthday. I'll have a review on that soon.
