You have to brush your hair off every time you shower. Soapy water makes it slimy. When filled with hair, it temporarily blocks the drain, causing water to flow out more slowly than without it (until you brush it of hair). BUT it works, and it works well. If you use it properly, it will prevent your hair from flying in the wind. What more could you want from a device at this price? Better for the environment than a drain and better for your wallet than a plumber. Just clean it with a piece of toilet paper (so you don't have to touch those hairs and soapy water!) and rinse. Put it in the dishwasher from time to time to wash off the soapy water. Buy a new one if it's too rough to clean. It's STILL worth it!
