Review on ๐Ÿ–จ๏ธ Avery Personal Label Printer - High-performing Direct Thermal B/W Label Printer (9100) by David Dreher

Revainrating 4 out of 5

When he worked, he was a real asset, and then suddenly he "died ".

I bought an Avery PLP 9100 because I thought it would be a big plus. I could quickly print a label, stick it on an envelope, and mail it. However, one of the disadvantages of the printer at first glance is that it feeds a label when you turn it on. There is no pressure on this label, it just wastes the label unless you open the lid and physically wrap the label back onto the wheel. IT IS tedious and certainly not a time saver. Just recently I wanted to print a label as usual and now the printer won't print any labels. I'm using the correct keyboard shortcuts (the ones I've been using all along, Avery) but something isn't working right. I called Avery and we did our best to get it working but the amber light was still blinking indicating the printer was not feeding the label properly. I've loaded labels many times and know how to do it, so I'm assuming this is a defect in the printer itself. The call I made to Avery at the time was unresolved and the rep said he would escalate it to his manager and I would hear back from him within 24-48 hours. I suppose that means I'll be hearing from them in a day or two. With hope. I think they should just give me a new PLP that works properly or give me my money back.
