This is the perfect baby blanket! I like the color - light blue but with some depth, not powdery blue. The blanket is so soft and fluffy. My baby loves to snuggle up to me underneath. The size is great. It's slightly longer than wide, giving you extra room to wrap or cover your legs. As a baby blanket it would be very nice and warm. The satin weave is so soft and silky. I especially like that the satin is only on the edges. Other blankets line the back with satin, but this is not the case. Satin feels pleasantly warm and does not cool down. The only thing that bothers me is that the satin is a bit delicate. I have a tick in the atlas because I brushed something rough. I've also noticed that the rough leather rubs against the satin, although it doesn't cause snags. After a few weeks of use I don't worry too much about it and think it will be a cozy blanket for years to come.
