This power station is ideal for those who need extra outlets on their desk but don't want to clutter their workspace with cords and plugs. In my home office, I have a convertible desk that converts from sitting to standing at the touch of a button. Before I bought this, my laptop, monitor, phone, Apple Watch, iPad, and desk lamp were plugged into a surge protector that was on the floor. When I set up my table, some of these items were removed from the table. Now with this power station, the only cord dangling from the side of my desk is the power cord for that surge protector. Super clean and organized! Because the power station mounts to the side of my desk, it also hides cables and power supplies under the desk. The last thing I want to highlight about this device is the onboard USB-C and USB-A ports. I can now charge my iPad Pro, iPhone, Apple Watch, and 2018 MacBook Pro through the same surge protector without the need for a 2-foot power cord. This is a very well thought out powerhouse and I cannot recommend it highly enough.
