I ordered because my old one was accidentally thrown away when moving house as it was packed in a box by itself and someone thought it was empty and threw it away. This rug is NOT what it used to be. It is very smooth and the fabric slides all over the body. There are no 1/2, 1/4, and 1/8 inch marks anywhere except around the rim. The old one had dotted lines of different sizes in some places. It heals on its own, but I messed up the tissue section a few times because it's so slippery. I'll keep looking and maybe let my kids use it if they need to carve something for projects.
