Simple button does the job

This product at a great price makes your iPhone's home button functional again. This is the main button. The original Apple TouchID button is a thin piece of mineral (sapphire) that looks like a crystal dial, but this one is clearly plastic. It has a very faint, soft click that doesn't sound like Apple's original at all. The internal connector is also of lower quality and does not attach with a secure latch. I wouldn't be surprised if it rips internally in the future if the phone is bumped or dropped, but for now it works. The product came in a small zippered box with no instructions. It is important to note that the small rubber spacer included in the kit needs to be placed on the back of the button (i.e. the button is placed in the front glass first and then the spacer on top of it). If you do the opposite, it won't fit in the hole and will get stuck.
