Button exchange works, (no fingerprint)

Button corresponds to the description, works with iPhone 5s. DOES NOT READ EXPRESSIONS. Easy to replace with the right tools and knowledge.

Pros
  • So far satisfied
Cons
  • Useless functions

Fits perfectly, works great!

Works great! (No Touch ID - I knew it wouldn't work as only the original ribbon cable paired to the motherboard would allow Touch ID.) Perfect fit, good button feel.

Pros
  • Makes you happy
Cons
  • Lots of things

But instead of etching, use sketch

Installed with greater accuracy than a Russian in a pissing contest for range and accuracy, hitting a dime at 5,931 yards. But don't you know it was the only thing that was in my iphone 5s but now the screen is not working. If I had to do it, I'd probably just try to find the US ready, yes, as if it existed

Works great on iPhone SE model A1662

Low cost, works great! Not Touch ID, of course, but I still didn't use this feature. The installation is complex, like working on a mechanical clock. You will also need an iPhone tool kit and a suction cup opening tool in the form of pliers. There are many videos available showing how to make the swap. The knob comes with a gasket; It looked good but I reused the original as it was in good condition. Outstanding result.

  • Good stuff

Saved me from buying a new phone for a long time.

$8 for a new button or $600 (or more) for a new phone. €8 sounds great! My previous button died and this one restored my phone's functionality. I've changed my screen several times over the years so replacing the buttons was super easy. Check out some YouTube videos for instructions, the iFixit videos are pretty good. There's no more Touch ID and it sometimes activates Siri when I'm not trying, but other than that it works fine. It's a little different from what some reviews have mentioned, but

Doesn't work anymore after 2 months - bad quality

UPDATE: Button no longer works reliably after 2 months. This only worked once out of 8 clicks. I was able to use this article to successfully replace the home button on my iPhone 5s (not an easy process). The internal dimensions of this product were not identical to Apple's, although the button itself is indistinguishable from the original. You can see the difference in mounting position between this product and the Apple in the attached image. I had a more difficult time getting this button to

Simple button does the job

This product at a great price makes your iPhone's home button functional again. This is the main button. The original Apple TouchID button is a thin piece of mineral (sapphire) that looks like a crystal dial, but this one is clearly plastic. It has a very faint, soft click that doesn't sound like Apple's original at all. The internal connector is also of lower quality and does not attach with a secure latch. I wouldn't be surprised if it rips internally in the future if the phone is bumped or…

Not the best option for SE

Over the years I have replaced many screens and home buttons on i devices. This home button on the iPhone SE ranks pretty low on the detail quality scale. What should have been a five-minute fix turned into an hour of swearing. Detail issues: - The button assembly is too thick to fit under the metal bracket - The ribbon cable in the first section that connects to the button is 2mm too long - There is no hole in the ribbon cable for the mounting screw. For example, the original connector design…

Doesn't read your fingerprint for passwords or iPhone unlocking!

I recently decided to replace the battery in my iPhone SE 2017 Edition as it cannot be used for more than ten minutes. I first tried replacing the battery and it didn't work at all. I then tore it apart again and separated the glass from the digitizer, which I thought was defective. It wasn't glued on like in the video showing how to replace a broken screen. This also explains why I had problems with the touchscreen on my iPhone since I bought it directly from Apple. I ordered a new battery and
