$8 for a new button or $600 (or more) for a new phone. β¬8 sounds great! My previous button died and this one restored my phone's functionality. I've changed my screen several times over the years so replacing the buttons was super easy. Check out some YouTube videos for instructions, the iFixit videos are pretty good. There's no more Touch ID and it sometimes activates Siri when I'm not trying, but other than that it works fine. It's a little different from what some reviews have mentioned, but it's not a problem for me.
