Although this food is more expensive than my dog's regular dry food (blue buffalo is his standard) it doesn't usually have any problems with digestion either Meal. Good quality jelly. Although he seemed happy to eat this piece, I noticed about a week after he ate it that he was having trouble pooping. It was taking longer than usual and seemed to weigh on him a bit. It took me a few days to connect and switch him back to the old food and after a few days he quickly started pooping again. He always has access to water and will eat as much as he wants (he will take you to the food bowl whenever he is hungry), usually eating 2 or more times what the pouch recommends. But he is a very active German Shorthaired Pointer and he can eat a lot without gaining weight. I don't know if his portion was too big or if he just didn't like the food, but he's never been constipated. I love that this meal uses a less traditional protein, but I would have preferred it to be homemade (I feel weird importing my own food, let alone my dog's food).
