I installed this on a Dodge RAM 06 1500. It was pretty easy, but I had to figure out the rotation stops. Also, the main shaft is plastic, so after a few years it might have the same issues as the original. It seems to be better but I'm not sure. Others I've seen are metal. As for the installation videos on YouTube. An advice. No need to cut the grate for installation. Just take out the fan and slide in the damper by hand. It's a little tricky, but still easy. And, of course, do not disassemble the dashboard, except for the glove box.
