Arrived as advertised

Let me start with those who have complained about the lack of instructions. If you order this part, how do you know you need it? It took some disassembling to find out this is the problem! If nothing else, there's always YouTube to help here. Very easy to assemble, great fit.

Better value than OEM.

Pretty easy to use. Just pull out the fan motor and install it. Made slightly more powerful with thicker plastic at the pivot point and a metal connection to the convection motor. It's too early to tell how long this will take. If it breaks I'll go with a one-piece aluminum door assembly. Still better than OEM.

Install without dash drop photo!

Metal clutch OEM was plastic junk. The shaft is 2 times thicker than the original shaft. How to do without the dashboard. Bottom fan, 3 T25 screws. Pull out the glove box. pic1 Dremel cuts out the plastic behind the glove box. pic2 Unscrew the 3x Phillips drive, I left the top screw. Pull out the Pic3Pop latches on the plastic door sleeve (note the location of the outer latch), remove the door through the fan cutout. Install door in reverse order. Do not install a drive. Turn the knob to…

Good quality for the price

I installed this on a Dodge RAM 06 1500. It was pretty easy, but I had to figure out the rotation stops. Also, the main shaft is plastic, so after a few years it might have the same issues as the original. It seems to be better but I'm not sure. Others I've seen are metal. As for the installation videos on YouTube. An advice. No need to cut the grate for installation. Just take out the fan and slide in the damper by hand. It's a little tricky, but still easy. And, of course, do not disassemble…

Install without damaging anything, install through the fan motor hole

Remove the fan motor. Remove the hood door control. Pull out the end of the new faucet door. Pull out the end of the old mixed door, take some slip joint pliers and pull the old door end pretty tight. Grab the fan motor and remove the broken faucet door. Check air conditioning setting, heating controller on outside air with mixer flap controller connected. Insert the new faucet door through the hole in the fan housing. not to force. fit. Reinstall the new end and insert it through the body into

it can be done! Suitable for air conditioning

Works as it should. Let me tell you that replacing this part without removing the entire system is not easy and will require "modifications" (cutting the plastic rods off the intake side of the cab), but still easier than removing and installing the entire dashboard. There is a metal "asapter?" that replaces the original plastic. The original plastic valve has small protrusions that must be pushed in or knocked off to fit the new valve. I lost the fancy metal somewhere in the dash so I just…

Better price and slightly better than OEM replacement.

The recirculation door fits perfectly. I've had good experiences with RedHound support where I've had a hard time prying a round metal connector off the end of a new door. I had a small burr that made it look like it was pressed in. Tech support assured me it was removed and promised to replace the part if it breaks. I put the part in a vise to get it out, cleaned the burr and the part worked perfectly. Installer Tip: There is no need to cut the heater air intake grille for removal/replacement…

Recirculation damper for 2006 Dodge Ram 1500

To start with I just installed it so can't comment on durability and have no issues at the moment. When I received the door it came with the door, a metal connector to attach to the drive and foil tape. There was a metal connector attached to the faucet door and I tugged on it to see if it came loose. He stood firmly at the door. Since I couldn't quite remember how the build was put together since the last time I installed the MOPAR replacement, I went further by removing the under-dash fan…
