The recirculation door fits perfectly. I've had good experiences with RedHound support where I've had a hard time prying a round metal connector off the end of a new door. I had a small burr that made it look like it was pressed in. Tech support assured me it was removed and promised to replace the part if it breaks. I put the part in a vise to get it out, cleaned the burr and the part worked perfectly. Installer Tip: There is no need to cut the heater air intake grille for removal/replacement as shown in many YouTube videos. The part you are removing and the new part will go through the hole where the fan assembly is located. Remove the fan with 3 screws and you can install a new door through the hole without cutting and cleaning debris from the fan at the same time. It's a good idea to check the fan resistance while you're there. When attempting to remove/install the actuator, be sure to tape up the sharp edges of the metal brackets that hold the various parts of the dashboard or you'll spill blood!
