I've been using the INVZI iPad stand for a few days and I'm pleasantly surprised that yes. It holds my iPad Pro 12.9 securely and works as stated by the manufacturer. It takes some practice to quickly set it on the magnet plate so it's level and at the best angle to hold it securely. It doesn't feel secure at first, but until you're sure you've positioned it correctly over the magnet, practice over a thick bath towel to "catch" it if you're unsure. Soon you'll be sure it won't slip off the slight vibration. If you're not satisfied that Apple's Magic Folio keyboard doesn't recline any more than it does, this stand is better! I use mine with a small, blue-toothed keyboard, and it almost feels like I'm sitting at a mini version of my 27-inch iMac. If there was a wish, I would wish for the base to be a little heavier. I think if you use the stand in a place where someone might hit the back of the iPad (e.g. in an office) the stand could tip over. Otherwise 5 stars and I really enjoy using this stand.
