This 6 camera system has many problems. Other reviews state that the HD quality is amazing. That wasn't the case with us at all. See the attached photo of a person driving down our street. The only way to get HD quality is to place the camera very close to the base station. The attached image was from a camera about 60 feet away. It also seems that the cameras lose focus almost constantly. Could it be a range issue? They also claim a range of 1,000 feet. That is not true. They told me it really is 350 with walls in the way. We tried to set up the camera 250 feet away and she couldn't find it. Then we had to transmit that camera through the camera in the garage to the base station. Often this camera was disabled or delayed by more than a minute. Heck, the camera at 60 feet often went offline. Also, even in PIR mode, we had a lot of false alarms. If the morning sun is just right and branches or leaves are blowing, you'll be disturbed by the cameras all morning. Even if the right birds, mice, squirrels, etc. worked. switch off. There is no sensitivity adjustment in PIR mode. The attached photo of the truck passed two cameras and no alarm! One camera failed right out of the box with constant alarms and no night vision mode. Another weatherproof camera got wet on the inside of the lens. Their support team is responsive and will have you jumping through lots of crazy ideas. They even let us open up the base station and check for loose cords! How will this fix the lack of HD quality? In principle, this system could work for a small home as long as all the cameras are within 30 feet or so. Adding range will slow down the system, degrade image quality, and disable cameras.
