Who would have thought that there was a spaetzle machine? I googled the recipes and someone mentioned using one. My family would put a drop of dough on a cutting board and use a knife to toss the noodles one by one into the boiling water. After a few drops and a lot of scratching, we had enough to eat. I had a dinner party for 10 (lots of drips) and it was a great time saver. I was afraid they would be too small but they were a good size and very consistent. It was very easy to use - just pour in a cup of batter and move it back and forth. I like how the device fits into the pan. Easy to clean. Now that I know how to make them quick and easy, we're going to be eating a lot more spaetzle. A good product.
