The Tapirus utensils were exactly what I was looking for for our recent camping trip. I bought two-one for myself and another for my husband. They came in an easy carry pouch, which kept everything together in our sacks. Although they were slightly heavier than I expected, that weight gave it more durability.

As I am trying to reduce my carbon footprint. I love this easy on the go carrier and utensils. I am able to bring this to work and clean it easily every day. A must have if you want to reduce the use of plastics!Go green!

Just received. - initial thoughts: good feel, good weight to them, sharp knife, large spoon for soup, small spoon for coffee! Pouch is great but lousy zipper pull (fixed with extra ring through hole of zipper pull). But bought the set for the quality of the fork spoons and knife and as stated feel good. Will report back how they work in the "field" in a couple of weeks.

Nothing special. Go to a cheap department store (Ross) or something similiar, buy a flatware set for $25 and a few $1 bottle openers at any hardware store, then go to a dollar store and buy a few cheap neoprene cell phone or glass holders and make you own for $6-7 a piece. You'll have more room for additional items as wellFlatware is not as sturdy as some quality products, but better than others.

This 5 piece set is amazing. I never have hunt around for utensils to eat with. I feel good because I'm not using plastic. This flatware is lightweight. The knife is strong enough to cut. I feel that this was a good purchase.

The sleeve for the silverware is a little too small. You really have to work at getting utensils in there. Zipper is very cheap. Won’t last long. Cheaper to purchase utensils at dollar store as they are the same quality.

Utensils were a little rough around the edges. No big deal I just used a fine grade file and smoothed the rough spots out. Perfect for my lunch box.

I LOVE this! I have it in my desk drawer at work so no longer have to use plastic sleeved plastic ware. Reducing my carbon footprint. Will order another set to keep in my car. Such a simple easy life change to cut down on plastic use!

carrying case /pouch is sort of hourglass shaped, making it a little difficult to pass the fork or larger spoon through if the other utensils are already in there. Beyond that it's awesome

I just received the utensils this weekend. The quality is better than I expected, the utensils are a nice weight, good shape and survived a wash in the dishwasher already. All of the utensils fit in the green bag comfortably, you just have to rotate the spoons to face opposite way from the fork and knife. I was tired of trying to spear my food with plastic forks so I purchased this for my lunches. I've been using them for a week now at work. I am very pleased with the quality of these utensils. They are full sized and stainless steel. I'm thinking that these may make great Christmas gifts for my work friends and family.

I bought this silverware set for my lunch bag so I can avoid using the plastic silverware at work. I love it. The handy case is perfect. I would suggest taking the bottle opener off the zipper if you don't need it since it pulls on the zipper an effects the way the zipper closes. Just as others have mentioned, the flatware is heavy, quality, full-size flat ware. This is just what I want for my lunch pail.The zipper attachment on the case is junk. The zipper tab fell off before I even got the case open the first time. If you want quality flatware that has a pouch that holds it, it's good. If you want a durable zipper tab that won't fall off, this wouldn't be it.
