Carburettor - great replacement with one caveat. My alternator had the choke rod bracket wrong. Luckily I was able to remove the assembly from the old carburetor and replace it. The new carburetor's choke has a plastic stem and was a bit tight. Also, the choke was not bolted to the stem like the old carb, but held in place by crimping a plate, which took a bit of skill to remove. The "old" linkage and plate fit perfectly and didn't have the stiffness of the new one. All in all, even with small problems, a very good product.
