The sink in our RV has no protection from objects falling into the hole. Toothpaste caps, jewelry and other small items are at risk of falling down the drain. This fits the hole nicely and saves me from having to remove the P-trap under the sink to get dropped items. The only complaint is about the shipping container. This thing is basically wire mesh and bends easily. It arrived in my mailbox in a soft paper envelope. Needless to say, it was bent out of shape. I was able to straighten it out and make it work. Looks like they will ship this in a box so it doesn't get crushed in transit. In general I am satisfied. I would buy again.
