Doesn't feel like castile soap

The price is high but I doubt it's real castile soap or that this product even contains lavender. I have used Castile soap for a variety of household purposes for many years, bottling and sometimes diluting the soap in various bottles. This soap is so jelly-like that it will NOT pour into other bottles without a funnel. It appears to have been reloaded, meaning it appears to be overflowing with potassium hydroxide. My husband and I have used it in hand soap bottles and found it to be so drying on our hands that we now have a bedtime moisturizing routine. It also stinks, like the harsh soap my mom used to pre-wash heavily soiled clothes, nothing like lavender. After we used half a gallon, we threw away all the hand soap, bought Dr. Bronners and put this product in the garage in case of an oil spill or similar. Very cheaply made.
