So these lights work great when you want to see a wire or press a little button. But they are reserved when turned off with a switch. If you want an existing circuit to work under cabinet lights, don't buy it. They are intended exclusively for use with your own switches. They don't work when you turn your own switch back on like you would expect a light to. Maybe I can bypass the switch but what a pain, especially for the one on top of my cabinets above my sink. I have to keep them on at all times if I need any light at all, or climb onto the counter and open cabinets to access switches between dishes. Too bad they didn't have a stupid switch. Second caveat, what happened to the dreaded puppy out of the plug? It's three inches long when connected with the USB cable plugged in! It invades the counter space and nothing can sit flush. You know they make low profile USB connectors with side plugs. What an eyesore. I have come to the conclusion that they are not intended for use with a wall switch at all, they have poor plug design but are easy to install. Accept them as they are. I spent $60 and my time on this and I can't get it back.
