We purchased this wax after purchasing a Crate and Barrel real wood table (Dakota dining table). I put the name because some people buy this table and wonder what to use. Well it's fantastic. It has a very, very mild smell, like olive oil (which it contains), but don't expect a lingering scent after use. This wax made our table look amazing upon delivery. About a quarter of the glass was used to cover the 20.3 square meters. ft. I've found that it's best to use a clean, lint-free cloth. By picking up some wax and then applying it to the area, one could ensure that part of the countertop was not soaked through.
