The fabric is soft and dense but as soon as I put them on I said "The pockets are so small!". That's for sure, I don't know how you would use them for anything other than your hands. Everything else falls away or should be very small. I just take a piece of fleece and make it bigger, but not everyone has the opportunity to change clothes. It's disappointing that I have to do this at all. The haircut also wobbles on the couple who tried them on. The bottom fits well, but then the front gets knocked off and sticks up. As cut with a stock size 10/12 and a front size 14/16. I bought this large (14/16) to allow her to grow, keep the waist high and room to grow, but I'm not sure they'll last a year before she outgrows it. If I bought her true size (10/12) I would return her. But since she likes the colors and they still have room to grow I'll just sort it out and make the changes I can. Also, they have bows in the front, suggesting that they are also tightened with a drawstring. That's not the case. They are purely decorative.
