First of all I love how thick and soft these pants were. Good colors, well done. I originally bought these sizes 14/16 for my 15 year old girl, she is about 5ft 2in tall and slim, she usually wears a zero. But when she tried them on she said they are a little tight around the waist. So we gave them to my 9 year old daughter who is about 84lbs and under but is a normal size and it fits her perfectly. So you got it.

This is common on 2 of the 4 patterns I have purchased. 2 simple pairs are fine. Patterned couples (which were prettier, of course) were unwearable. My daughter immediately complained that it hurt to wear them (there are drawings on the belt too) and when I told her to stop complaining I really felt them. Sandpaper will be more convenient. I suspect they'll fray around the edges after a few washes, but that's just silly.

These jogging pants seemed like a real find, pockets, thickness, cool look?!?!? ! BUT unfortunately I have to report that the fabric seems to pill VERY EASY AND FAST! 😒 In fact, after a moment I had to think and wonder if those were old sweats judging by the clothes pills, but I knew that couldn't be true when I saw growth spurts happening so quickly and knew EVERYONE was wearing their clothes are new. The fabric is soft and dense but as soon as I put them on I said "The pockets are so small!". That's for sure, I don't know how you would use them for anything other than your hands. Everything else falls away or should be very small. I just take a piece of fleece and make it bigger, but not everyone has the opportunity to change clothes.
