Review on ARSUXEO Men's Winter Cycling Jacket: Thermal Fleece Softshell, Waterproof & Windproof MTB Bike Outwear - 20B Model by Joshua Jemison

Cold weather cycling jacket

Size XL. I weigh 185 pounds. Chest 42 inches. Sleeve 35 inches. Waist 36 inches. Height 5 feet 10 inches. As far as I know, this jacket is only for very cold days. And that's what I was looking for. Otherwise I would sweat too much and this jacket is not breathable at all. i like winter I love riding in ALL adverse conditions. I would not use this jacket in temperatures above freezing unless there was a very wet road with snow, sleet, rain, sleet. Today and yesterday it was 15 degrees Fahrenheit. in strong wind. I wore it over three base layers with long sleeves and a quarter zip. One polyester, one merino wool, one windproof material. I only gave it four stars because the jacket doesn't have the traditional three open back pockets. It has just one center back zip pocket big enough for a phone, keys, goo and a PB&J sandwich. Lots of space for me. The fit of this jacket as well as its wind and water resistance are the deciding factors for me, even if a zipped pocket is difficult to use when out and about. The zip is almost impossible to unzip while driving, and in very cold weather when I'm wearing a jacket, the zip is very difficult to unzip even when I stop at the side of the road. The zip pocket isn't a big problem for me as I'm out for a maximum of 2 hours in very bad conditions. As I said. super warm, super windproof and water repellent. Also super cheap! I've tried on bike clothing from several well-known brands worth over $200 and none of them fit as well in the chest and sleeves, and none of them did as well at blocking the wind as temperatures dropped into puberty.

Pros
  • Zip
Cons
  • Off fashion
