Review on Sony INZONE Gaming Monitor Dimming 27", 144Hz, HDR, SDMU27M90, HD by Luca Fiore

Sony Inzone M9 arrived very protected in 3 boxes. Assembly is quick and easy, just 2 stand screws and you're done. As with all my other high-end displays, the build quality is good. The display is stable on my desk. The internal speakers are pretty much useless, but might be okay for a conference call. The different colored LEDs on the back are nice but not very efficient as they are not very bright. Apart from the power supply and cable, no other cable is included in the scope of delivery. I bought an additional 4K display and USB-B cable for future firmware. The overall impression of the display is modern and stylish in my opinion. impressed with the picture quality. I'm not a big gamer, but for professional photo and video editing, this is exactly what I was hoping for. I use the display calibration tool on all my displays including this one from Sony. The result was impressive, since the Sony calibration in standard mode deviated only slightly from my result. The display settings are very detailed and can be set and saved for different applications like games or movies etc. The image quality in all game, photo and video modes is excellent. Download the latest display driver from Sony homepage and also from Inzone Hub app. To update the firmware from 006 to 008 I used a USB-B cable and a USB hub in the Inzone software. KVM switch 2 on DP sync. It works and was done in about 15 minutes. I couldn't find any major issues lowering my 5 star rating and would recommend it to anyone looking for a great all rounder with great picture quality.
