This is a really good laptop or tablet stand: it's made from aluminum and feels very sturdy, folds easily (it fits in the included soft carry case, which is a nice touch) and stays securely in place , without taking up too much space . I use it to keep my laptop at the right height for seated use as a monitor (with an external second monitor, keyboard and mouse). I can even hide a small USB fan behind the stand to keep the laptop from overheating when I'm working on something heavy. I'm not sure you could ask for more from a laptop stand!
