It would appear that with such a short column, there is little to anticipate from it; nonetheless, I found that I like it quite a bit, much more so than, for instance, the Harman / Kardon Esquire 2 or the JBL Flip 3/4. I listened to and tried out a variety of portable acoustics manufactured by Harman, including the Esquire 2, the Esquire small, the Charge 2+/3, the Flip 3/4, and the Clip 2. I am going to compare myself to these other speakers. In terms of its sound quality, Go2 is superior to both H/K and Clip 2, but it merges with Charge and comes in a close second to Flip. Yet none of this takes place outside; I fear that Go2 would quickly become disoriented in public settings like this, which is why I didn't purchase it in the first place. In terms of the amount of time it takes to operate, Go2 will be on par with both X and K, a touch worse than clip 2 and flip, and significantly worse than charge. I cannot recommend this piece highly enough.
