I purchased this bag to replace a very popular version that wore out after 1 year of use. The other type, of which I've had several, used a spring to keep the treat pocket open. I was worried that this bag did not have a spring mechanism, however, that is also the part that broke on the other one I had, making it useless. I am very happy that this bag stays open because of the shape of the pocket, but also snaps shut when I need it with a strong magnet. I've only used it a few times already but I am pleased. It has plenty of room for poop bags in the front pocket, and lots of treats in the main pocket.
