Do not mount the transducer that came with the fish finder outside of the housing, use it. (fiberglass only)
My Hatteras boat was made in the 1960's when they built 1 1/4" thick mounds out of solid fiberglass. I installed this transducer in the case and now mine works Hummingbird impeccable Comes with easy to use 2 part glue Excellent product.
