The perfect replacement!

Must replace the same one in my boat. The end of the plug was different, but it could be turned off. Now I know how deep the water is.

Pros
  • Trial for a year
Cons
  • Some trouble

As advertised Car Electronics

Excellent replacement glass with epoxy adhesive. Works as stated with Humminbird products listed. Worth the cost if a second sensor is needed.

Pros
  • Comfortable to use
Cons
  • Empty

Will not work through thin carbon fiber canoes

Will not work through carbon fiber. I just thought you buyers would like to know before you throw away sixty-three bucks. I mean absolutely - 0 feet!

Pros
  • Works great for me
Cons

Works with 800 and 900 series units. I filled it with epoxy.

Fits 800 and 900 series units. I have epoxy filled this in the center of the hold of my Ranger Z20 Bass Boat and I am reading bottom depth, temperature and 2D sonar readings at over 60mph .

Pros
  • Durable finish
Cons
  • Negative is provided

Possible compatibility issue

Humminbird (who also made Livorsi fish finders) changed the connectors at some point. My fish finder used a different connector than the upgraded transducer. There is an adapter but it is chargeable. In my case, buying a whole new fish finder made more sense than buying an adapter. I sent this back (no problem via Revain!) and ordered a new fish finder. The fish finder is no longer available with a torso shot transducer, but Humminbird offers a free transducer replacement and I was able to get…

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Miscellaneous Miscellaneous

This item will not work on a Carolina Skiff

I did not open this item because I was told by my boat manufacturer that it would not work on my boat. According to Carolina Skiff customer service, this transducer will not work in any of their skiff hulls because these boats ride on a cushion of air bubbles. In the presence of air bubbles under the boat, the signal from this transducer will penetrate the hull but not the rough water beneath the boat. If you have a Carolina Skiff, do not purchase this item. I think I'll try to sell mine.

Pros
  • Electronics
Cons
  • Requires an outlet
