Do not mount the transducer that came with the fish finder outside of the housing, use it. (fiberglass only)
My Hatteras boat was built in the 1960's when they built 1 1/4 inch thick solid fiberglass mounds. I installed this converter in the case and now my hummingbird works perfectly. Comes with easy to use 2 part adhesive. Excellent goods.
