I both love and hate this brace

I fracture my ankle. My doctor wanted me to sleep in an ortho boot but it was too uncomfortable. But I also couldn't sleep without some kind of brace due to pain in my ankle. This brace is much more comfortable to sleep in or even just wear around the house to take a break from my ortho boot. I love it because it's more comfortable than my boot. However, I also get frustrated with the brace. The position can easily shift forward or backward causing the plastic to painfully press on the sides of

Pros
  • Easy to use.
Cons
  • The problem is it won't keep the air inside the bags very long. Leaks.

Good stability and comfort—

The Air-Stirrup definitely provides stability and support for my sprained ankle. I am wearing it indoors as much as possible.I am editing this, because I previously wrote that it was impossible to get a shoe on when wearing the AirCast. We subsequently discovered that a small adjustment allows me to pull the cast up far enough that I can get my foot into a sneaker and even some sandals. Now that I've figured this out, I can wear it both inside and outside. I think it will be helpful on an…

Recovering from Weber C ankle fracture

At first I wasn't impressed by the brace. But I kept playing with it to adjust the fit. Once I figured that out, I fell in love! It is better than any other splint/brace I tried. I actually have seen a HUGE difference when I wear it and when I don't. Walk great with it. Without it I get shooting pain with every step. It took a while to "figure out" the best way to wear it so don't give up. It's worth it!Cons- hard to fit at first. Doesn't fit in shoes as easily as advertised.Pros- WALK…

Pros
  • Pre-inflated air cells provide pulsating compression while walking, enhance circulation and reduce swelling and edema
Cons
  • May slip down the ankle with movement

Low maintenance and lightweight

I am quite amazed with this. Wasn't sure I would like microfiber but its lightweight construction has been heaven sent as I don't have to struggle with the comforter constantly. The bright white color is beautiful and thankfully stays white unlike cotton which picks up dirt like magnet. Is easy to wash. Goes straight onto the bed without needing to steam/iron. Material is thin and may be see through but fine over my white comforter, and seems to hold my queen sized one with an inch to spare on…

Pros
  • VERY soft sheets! So much love for the so
Cons
  • May not provide enough support for severe ankle injuries

Adjustment and fit are KEY!

It took me 2 days wearing it to get it adjusted just right. I couldn't find a thing about FIT ADJUSTMENT on the product website or even on Youtube, only instructions on how to put it on. Also, there was no clue as to how to determine what size to order. Sizes are the number of inches the brace extends up your calf. Just going by the pictures, I aimed for the top of my crew sock, which turned out to be a size Small, even though I have a wide shoe size and a large calf. As to adjustment, I found…

Pros
  • Aircast Air-Stirrup Ankle Support Brace resists inversion more than taping, yet normal flexion is virtually unrestricted
Cons
  • May cause discomfort when walking or running

Washes like a dream

I purchased the red plaid and have washed it several times. No shrinking or fading and wrinkle free. Very happy with my purchase

Pros
  • Great product if you are healing from a sprain.
Cons
  • May be uncomfortable to wear for extended periods

Not a bad deal if you keep your expectations realistic.

Good deal, somewhat cheaply made. Basically, this is a microfiber sheet (we also purchased a sheet set and it is the exact same material and thickness) sewn into a bag for your duvet. It has thin little strings inside which you can attach to the corners of your duvet to hold it in place inside the bag. It has a zipper on one side where you can open it to stuff the duvet in. There were some hanging threads, but they were not loose/did not cause problems.Tips: wash before use, as always. Keep the

Cons
  • May not effectively stabilize the ankle

Critically important while waiting for CIDP diagnosis

While waiting for a final diagnosis of CIDP these are the only thing that allowed my son to somewhat walk. No other brace worked like these did. CIDP affects the nerves. Because of their simplicity of fastening (velcro) my son was able to put them on by himself and was able to wear them all day without any sores or skin rubbing. There are others that are laced but not as sturdy and definitely not as user friendly for a person who is unable to move his fingers. But these are velcro so no issue…

Pros
  • Can be worn comfortably for extended periods of time
Cons
  • May restrict blood flow to the ankle

Uncomfortable, but worked good.

Worked perfect for my daughter when she injured her ankle. It kept her from moving it, but she said it was very uncomfortable and hard to put on right enough to keep her ankle stable and loose enough to not hurt her leg. As a mom, I thought it did the job it was supposed to do.

Pros
  • ‎AC141AB07-S-R
Cons
  • May not fit snugly on all ankle sizes and shapes

Beautiful Duvet! best in my review

I absolutely love this comforter cover! Not only is it beautiful, it’s soft and wrinkle free. Washes up nicely and has a zipper enclosure. So easy to put on and take off. I should have purchased two!

Cons

Definitely Helped on my review.

After experiencing a fall, I had bruised bones, torn ligaments and broken blood vessels, my doctor recommended this product to help stabilize my ankles for a few months. It definitely helped, but it would have been better if the instructions were a little more specific on how to fit ; e.g., "adjust straps" didn't explain why you would need to adjust the straps. A side view picture of how the brace should fit when wearing a shoe would have helped. With the design, I could not wear…

Pros
  • Provides optimal support for those suffering from ankle injuries
Cons
  • May require a doctor's recommendation or prescription for purchase

Great buy!: my feedback

This is amazing for the price. I am so happy we bought this rather than something 10x the price. It does give a bit of a wrinkled look after wash but if you are into Scandinavian or rustic design then you actually want that. We got the white one and it is nice and bright. Did have a bit of a smell out of the package but it went away with the first wash. Has held up well to lots of washes and doggie claws (even dog digging and running). I am very gentle with the zipper as from what I have read…

Pros
  • Provides a comfortable fit
Cons
  • May not be suitable for individuals with high arches or flat feet

Excellent brace to help with light sprain

After spraining my ankle I found it extremely difficult to walk. I spent a few days hobbling around the house until I finally decided to order this brace - and I'm glad I did! This brace enabled me to get around the house much easier than the previous two days. I no longer had to hop on one foot as I could put a bit of pressure on my left foot without causing too much pain. The fit was adjustable. The straps were velcro and I was able to adjust the brace to fit my foot width. I think the height…

Pros
  • Commonly worn immediately after an ankle injury and throughout recovery; Low-profile structure allows for minimal bulk while wearing shoes
Cons
  • May not provide enough compression for swelling reduction

Super Soft, Cozy, and Worth it!

Read the mixed reviews before buying this duvet cover and was honestly really hesitant on purchasing it. I had spent a couple of days trying to find something else that fit the bill with no luck and found myself back to this one so I went for it and am so so glad that I did! All that stress for nothing. My Husband and I LOVE this duvet set! Upon opening it you will find some loose threading but there is a piece of paper that clearly explains why they are there. After washing it no more loose…

Cons
  • May not be effective for all types of ankle injuries

The best brace there is!

Back in February, slipped on ice rolled my ankle and fractured the bone. I was given an unusable brace at the clinic, since it was my right ankle and any driving or using the ankle was out of the question, a bit tough to drive to work that way. I did some research and came up with this brace. I was able to walk, drive and otherwise use my ankle while it healed, though still not healed fully yet this by far was the best brace for my purposes. I'm out of the brace and using a aircast A60 for…

Pros
  • Provides confidence and peace of mind during activity
Cons
  • May not provide adequate support for high-impact sports like basketball or soccer

Very cute, comfortable fabric

This duvet cover is actually really nice! We have pets so using the cover is super helpful. Cute design and comfortable to sleep in but it is a slightly "louder" fabric when it rubs together, sort of like a sleeping bag or a more corse material. However, it fit our comforter perfectly and was easy to put on and clean so it was a win for me!

Pros
  • Semi-rigid, anatomically designed shells are lined with patented Duplex air cells, which help stabilize and protect the ankle
Cons
  • May not be covered by insurance

A Big Help While My Anke Heals

I have been wearing this for about a month now due to a severe sprain that I am working through with a physical therapist. It is easy to adjust, put on and take off and it provides great stability. It certainly isn't going to win any fashion awards and I can only wear certain shoes with it due to the bulkiness below the ankle, but I guess that is to be expected. I do wish it can with a second heel strap because that can get pretty grungy over time and starts looking pretty nasty. That is my…

Life Saver! good for me

Literally a life saver. After I fractured my fibula on my first day of college in NYC I was given the direction that I could do weight bearing as tolerated. For the first two weeks I rented a knee scooter which I also highly recommend. However, the two boots given to me made the pain excruciating and even harder to walk with the crutches once I was able to put some weight on it. They were heavy and bulky and put to much pressure on my broken bone. This however provided the perfect support and…

Wow super nice - my new review

This came in a vacuum sealed bag so it took a minute to fluff out but once it did wow so nice and soft very warm this is truly a year round comforter set

Pros
  • Made by a trusted brand in medical equipment
Cons
  • May interfere with range of motion during physical therapy

I have broken my fibula at my right (dominant) foot a couple days ago and the doc says I have much soft tissue damage as well. Thanks to Dan's review I ordered it yesterday with prime overnight shipping. This evening it came in around 5PM and I can walk again without hardly any pain! I was provided an aircast boot which is pretty good but goes up to my knew and is large and bulky. No way that would allow my pants to go over it I also received a bledsoe wraptor speed XXL which is awesome but…

Pros
  • Supports the proper alignment of the ankle joint
Cons
  • May not be suitable for individuals with allergies or sensitivities
