I put flowers in them (extremely easy to arrange due to the size of the hole) and gave them to people as a gift for the soul and also as a housewarming gift. And just gave them the beautiful gift box that comes with it. Unless you're a big flower arranger, you might not appreciate two things about them: 1) as mentioned, the size of the mouth (too wide and they either flop all over the place and look sloppy, or you end up spending a million bucks , to buy enough flowers so they don't fall off) and 2) a plain white matte finish. As for the second point, flowers (in my opinion) shouldn't compete with a vase if there's something wrong with it - or even with a particularly shiny look. The vase (again - my opinion) should simply serve as a container for flowers, allowing their beauty to take center stage.
