This is my first hard surface mouse pad. I have a sewn fabric pillow and it's fine, but I needed a smaller size for my work space so this one seemed right for me and was a good price for a first try. Wow! I love it! It's a hard, smooth plastic, but it's almost VERY fine in texture. (See close-ups; first photo has an Airpod Pro case to zoom in.) I think that's why the mouse moves so smoothly, yet still maintains control and doesn't feel like it's about to slip away. It's like the perfect combination of mouse and pad. (I use the XTRFY M4 RGB ultra-light gaming mouse, which I also love.) The mouse pad is easy to wash and feels comfortable when my hand comes into contact with it. The edges are even, the logo does not stand out. The back has an anti-slip texture, which can't be used for a mouse, but it does the job and the mouse pad is anti-slip. The pillow arrived well packaged and well protected for shipping. Really good product! I could buy another one as a replacement.
