I go to many indoor concert halls (especially one) where the temperature is quite low and cold AC wind blows in winter and summer. I needed something light, compact, cheap that could be stored in a small space and that would basically protect me from arctic AC power. Even the light Afghan models are too bulky for my purposes and a bit awkward to transport. One of these is perfect! I just roll them up and stuff them in the bottom of the seat cushion when I don't need them, I have nothing to wear and I'm mostly warm.
