Review on Advanced Linear Integrated Industrial Printer Structure by Ken Coste

I'm posting Jesse Brun's review because it's my opinion too. This is my third printer and my worst printer. This thing is awful, unreliable and takes way too long to try to make anything of it. I've had it for a few months now and I've only gotten two decent casts. 1.0 out of 5 stars RUN. Do not go! RUN from this printer! Verified in USA March 16, 2020 Verified Purchase I really wanted this printer to be my favorite and after spending almost a month researching the printer I wanted to buy I decided it was the CoreXY printer had to be, due to the size I wanted to print, and after comparing a few that were in my $500-$1,000 price range and became available within a few weeks of my purchase decision, I settled on the Tronxy X5SA Pro . and I really had to wait for my other options to become available. I'm incredibly disappointed in this printer and it ticked all the boxes for the feature sets I wanted. Auto platform leveling, Titan extruder (looks like a clone), run out of filament (bad offset and not adjustable), double Z for stability and a nice touchscreen. So problems; auto platform leveling, this just doesn't work, it takes measurements from the touchscreen but never seems to do anything with the data, resulting in warped printers and incredibly poor first layers that are very inconsistent. Let's add that Z-Offset is still a "paper under the nozzle" test, which is a bad test mechanism. Titan Extruder (looks like a clone), it doesn't chew filament well and seems to skip a step way more often than it should. resulting in significant extrusion, would like to go ahead and calibrate it, good luck, the firmware appears to be locked. Additionally, they place the extruder and filament at the back of the printer, so you either have to walk around the printer or put your hands through the machine to feed it, a very cumbersome setup. a thread. Runout (bad offset and not adjustable), whoever came up with this design, it's misaligned, exits the sensor into the extruder at an acute angle, the posts are not only the wrong size, they're on the wrong one Job . Double Z for stability, this should in theory, especially with a large printer, provide extra stability, except the stepper motors are out of sync, any slight pressure on the platform after printing or even before start and suddenly your Z axis is on one Page off and you start the whole process again, wasting a lot of time and effort. Nice touchscreen, it's in color and the button is clickable but other than that the touch accuracy is off even after calibration and the menu is so poorly labeled there's a lot of trial and error before you get it to do that, what you want to do. Printer required for the CoreXY printer. Also talk about LOUD, the fan on the motherboard is so loud that you can't run it and occupy the same space that it's too loud, the hot-end fans and cooling parts are not that loud, but still significantly louder than the competition as they came with 4010 fans there is a limited supply of quality 24V replacement fans available. Health issues in this area at the time I was unable to resolve my issues until the return window closed which even if I it did, wasn't sure how he could return it clean to the box to be returned for a refund. So now I'm stuck with a printer that I'm not happy with and having already spent too much time and money on this printer I'm concerned that it will end up with a machine that maybe only has one frame can be saved. Save your money, choose a more reputable brand and a better quality printer.
