Review on πŸ”₯ Duncan Light Up Intermediate Bearing 3572XP BL: Illuminating Performance for Intermediate Skill Levels by Bryan Ramirez

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Better and cheaper Yomega Spectrum. Open carefully!

It doesn't sleep as well as my Yomega Fireball, but it sleeps and returns better than my Yomega Spectrum (it's a backlit competitor) and the Spectrum was $5 more expensive. The neon colored sides and top also make it look cooler. Battery life is better across the spectrum, though. Another benefit of the swing is that its width is adjustable and it holds up better than the Yomegi because it uses a nylox nut on the axle. Yomega's design uses a standard nut that can work loose during critical tricks like pounding. The Yomega nut is also smaller, so the plastic around it can warp if you try to over-tighten it. That means you never know if they're tight enough to stay together, or if you should tighten them even more and risk breaking the Yomega. The Nylox nut in this Pulse is a much better design because it grips the bolt/axle without relying on pure torque (torsional force). One downside to the Pulse is that it comes in five tiny pieces, scattered all over the floor if you unscrew the two halves for maintenance, but if you're careful they won't fall off. The Spectrum only has one plastic bearing that stays attached to the string, so there's less to worry about there.
